DS 12 weeks has swelling in scrotum

All was found to be normal at birth & 8 week check but I've noticed over the last few weeks an area above one testis looks slightly swollen. It comes & goes so sometimes all looks normal. Always in same place & not getting bigger.

Nothing else unusual & it's definitely not bothering him or tender.

Worth seeing GP? Anyone experienced this? Thanks.

Hernia?

Simple to fix, go see gp!

Happened to DN1 at about th same age - it turned out to be a testicular hernia, which later required a small op.
I'd go to the gp tomorrow

DS had 6 week check yesterday, he has swollen bits and his belly button is sticking right out (this is a recent occurrence, the cord fell off ages ago and it was healing fine...) Doc said it's a hernia and he has been referred to hospital for an ultrasound.
Common apparently but I still cried all the way home from the doctors, I'm secretly hoping he doesn't need an op to fix it :(
