Travel sickness Medication Stugeron 15

I gave my five year old son Stugeron 15 whilst on holiday in Ecuador, this medication was recommended to me by boots pharmarcy and it's box clearly states suitable for children five and over, I gave my son one pill and a few hours later he became very sick, I had to take him to the emergency room, when I told the doctor what I had given my son he was shocked, he couldn't believe that this medication is given to children of such a young age in England as it can cause such a bad reaction. I have seen reviews recommending this medication on this site and it concerns me, the box does not contain a list of ingredients so it is very difficult for parents to see if there is anything in them that may cause servere side effects, in other countries this medication is only given to adults and is used as a sedative. Be very careful giving this medication to small children.
