Bit of a weird one but can a child's hair change from brown to black? DP and I don't know but are a bit concerned that DSD's m is dying her hair as she she's her own. DSD is 3. (Due to ongoing contact case DPs ex had cut contact for a while as punishment.... Sigh. So we don't know if it changed over a few months of overnight)

DS started out brown and turned blonde by 6 months. DH and my dad both started out blonde and turned brown at age 5 or so. So there's certainly potential for dramatic changes in natural hair colour.

The ex dyes her hair black from brown. She seems to want her daughter to be an adult, let's her listen/watch inappropriate songs/films/tv. She isn't allowed to wear kid style clothes (eg character wear), is dressed as an adult, pearl earrings and all! That's why we suspected it's possible she may be dying her hair too.

He hadn't seen her for 6-8 weeks? I'm not really sure but it was brown and now it's black.
