2 year old swilled washing machine liquid

My two year old has just tipped out the washing machine liquid I use to clean the clothes she had it all over her hands and her mouth smells of it I doubt she would of drank it maybe put her hands in her mouth what should I do? She hasn't been sick or anything x

I think I would call Nhs Direct/NHS 1 and get medical advice just to be on the safe side.

It can cause chemical burns - I'd get some advice quickly. Wash it off her hands too, it's strongly alkali.

Definitely call 111. I work in children's A&E and they have access to the same toxicology and poisons database that we use. Often they are fine and just have some gastro symptoms but you need to check the specific instructions for that product.

I have rang and they said that she should be fine as she hasn't drank any just had a small amount in her mouth of her hands. I'm still worried though I have given her lots of water and she is currently eating a yoghurt and running round as normal she hasn't been sick at all
