Poopey trumps before falling asleep at bedtime

Please help me!!
My son is going to turn 5 in just over two weeks time and he has just started school. For the past 4-5 days he has been having like a poopey trump in his bed time nappy (not an actual poo) and he seems to touch his bottom and gets covered in it!! and I cant for the life of me think why?!
Nothing has changed in his diet (other than school meals but he had this over the weekend while not at school?) or his routine. I have also asked him if he is worried about anything such as school but he says no.
I leave his bedroom door open and the bathroom light on so that in case he needs the toilet he can go. He is fully toilet trained and has not had an accident in months but has a bedtime nappy on.

Im starting to feel like a failure

Thanks Sad

He probably doesn't understand what worried really means. He could be anxious and getting an upset tum as a result.

Sounds to me like anxiety from starting school. Not quite sure how to tackle it though!
