5 yo DD had thrush, how can I help her?

We ended up at OOH yesterday after Dd complaining of a sore 'bum' over the weekend. It was very red and inflamed and she was sobbing every time she went to the toilet to urinate. It got to the point where she wouldn't go and she wet herself several times.

OOH gp prescribed caneston and I have been applying it as described since yesterday.

She is very sore and still not wanting to go to the toilet. I have kept her off school today (I didn't want her to have an accident in the classroom) and I'm still applying cream but will a warm bath help?

Anything else I can do to help her?

She seems much better in herself, she's not as hot and is a bit brighter.

Gp advised me to take her back to the docs If it still hasn't cleared up by Monday night and I've to take a urine sample with me this time (she refused to the point of sobbing yesterday)

Any advice appreciated, thanks
