Tummy button

My dd has just told me she has been poking her tummy button with a loom band hook to get some dried skin out but now it is really sore.

I just looked and it is red and weeping. I have dabbed with a damp cotton wool pad but is there anything else I should do?

My dd plays with her tummy button when she is tired. She often makes it's sore and red Hmm

I always clean with sterile water and spray with a antiseptic spray.

could you stick some sudocrem in it? I have a very innie tummy button and it sometimes gets red and sore and sudocrem sorts it out quickly

Great thanks for the tips. I was getting worried as we go away next week and I don't want it to get infected in the pool etc.
