Hiya it sounds like it might be loose??

Dd has to literally flick hers off so never had the worry of her choking, she's had it for 8 months and I'm amazed at the results!

Ring them in morning. ....

it sounds too loose to me too. it should fit tightly and not move about.
I am surprised they told him to remove it for eating, when dd had hers we were told this was the most important time to wear it so the jaw gets used to that position.
good luck with it, they are not easy to get used to, but the results are amazing.

ds has to use the clips to undo his. He takes his out for eating the aim is 23/24 hours. 4 months in here , check up next week
