My 11 year old son was referred for a kidney and bladder scan yesterday due to blood in his urine. Following the scan we were told that the bleeding was being caused by a polyp in his bladder (kidneys fine), that this was highly unusual in a child, and that he would be referred immediately to a urologist.
Anyone experienced similar? Have been scaring myself with Dr Google.
