Advice about my toddlers willy...

Never thought Id start a thread about that...
3yo DS is always fiddling with his willy. Tonight at bath time he pulled his foreskin back a little (it has been going back for some time), and he said 'it hurts'. His penis was red (foreskin fine), I dont think it looked swollen and he doesnt have a fever, its just very red (I actually thought it had blood on it it was so red).
He is now fast asleep and I will try and get an appointment at GP tomorrow, but has anyone else had experience of this? Do I need to be more worried?

they can look quite purple underneath the foreskin (tmi!). Maybe it was the sensation of pulling it back that was strange rather than it being actually sore. No harm in going to the gp though
