Chicken pox? But the spots have gone done?

Please try to tell me what's going on, I'm confused.

Dd 1.9 has had some spots on her back for the last couple of days, a bit like a heat rash. They (about 3 spots) were red, but not bright red iykwim and they've stayed they same till now.

Yesterday at nursery, she came out in more of the same spots - red, but not angry, no heads - a couple on her face, a few on one arm, couple on legs.

DH picked her up and took her to the gp's for confirmation, but until they blister they can't say for sure, and he was 'pretty certain' it was chicken pox.

However, this morning they seem to be disappearing - they're still there, but very faint, not raised at all and not as red. Her temp is only about half a degree higher than usual, and she's fine in herself (happy,chatty, eating and drinking normally).

Has anyone had this and then it been chicken pox? I presumed the spots wouldn't go away until they'd blistered and scabbed?

spots should be getting worse, not better. Don't think it's CP.

But they are insect bites. But they are massively itchy
