My 18 month old won't take calpol, it's a total fight to get her to swallow it and she's teething badly. Any advice?

Medicine dummy?

Put it in a syringe, hold her down, wait till her mouth is open, then squeeze it in little drops into the back side of her cheek so it goes down her throat and she can't spit it out.

Tried a medicine dummy and syringe. Even putting it to the side of cheek she still manages to spit most out.

How about mixing it with yoghurt?

Try ibuprofen. Or different flavour.. Mine are ok with orange, but hate strawberry:

You're not putting it far back enough if she can spit it out. Sometimes it's a two man job, you need to hold her head straight so it runs down.
