Where do I find hospital info?

Being offered a choice of local hospitals (there are three) for DS's paediatric appointment. But at the moment I have no information on which to base my choice. I'd like to find out, obviously, which hospital has the best paediatric department, but NHS choices only seems to have hospital level data on eg infection control - not really relevant in our case.

Can anyone help? Are there other websites out there?

Maybe post again asking for experiences with these three hospitals? The problem though is that these will be individual experiences and may or may not be representative.

Could you ask your GP?

also it depends on exactly what the problem is. I'd go to our local hospital for most paed issues apart from one particular one as I know the consultant we'd be sent to thinks he knows better than the actual specialists isn't as clued up as he ought to be.

Yes I think I will leave it to the GP to make the choice. It is frustrating, though, choice without information!
