head lice eggs (again!)

I've done a search and know that while head lice problems appear here often my particular problem hasn't. I've managed to get rid of the head lice with nitty gritty comb and conditioner but have old eggs stuck to my dd's hair that I am struggling to get rid of. has anyone any suggestions for me?

Gross I know, but once conditioner is in get your nails and slide them out on to some tissue.

I found not even chemicals work on the eggs

Rinse her hair in white vinegar then comb again

It's amazing how many eggs come off

thanks for the replies. have tried the scraping along the hair but she has a lot of hair but I will keep going.

I did hear about the vinegar just in the last day or so and will definitely give it a shot.
