Husky voice?

DS, age seven, has an extremely husky voice. He hasn't always. It's very noticeable; people are always asking if he has a cold or is tired.

It does seem to worsen when he's very tired but otherwise it just seems to be what he sounds like.

I asked the doctor while we were at an appointment for DD and she didn't seem concerned.

I just wondered if anyone else had a DC with this and whether it could be the sign of a problem. He does talk almost constantly so maybe his voice is just worn out! :)

DD has always had a slightly husky voice but it gets much worse when she is tired or unwell. She is now 23 and still the same (not stopped talking yet either! Grin )

Maybe I should just have him trained to be a blues singer then :o
