All the time. I turn around to talk to him and he's in the loo. He says he poos every time. It takes ages. He always eats his veggies. There are no mucky mags in the loo.
Is there something wrong? It has been going on for about 6 weeks and I will be taking him to the Dr to talk about it soon.
Any thoughts?

Not sure this conversation is going to happen between mum and teenaged son but, ask him whether there is anything different about his poo. Blood when he wipes or blood in the poo, mucus anywhere, solid or runny? Has anything changed. Defo a trip to GP. Might need a colonoscopy. Stool sample almost definitely.

My guess is he isn't pooing. A teenage boy doesn't need mucky mags.

Keep mentioning it and maybe he'll cut back a little. Or he'll grow out of it. Well, not out of it, they

never do, but reduce the frequency.

It could be he is taking laxatives - hopefully not.
