Rash (brown pigment marks) on 2 year old's fingers

Dd has a rash on the fingers of one hand, but the marks aren't either red or (apparently) itchy. Dh thinks she got it from playing with plants outside, does this sound likely? TIA

Sap can do that....are they like brown stains? My own dd had this the other day.

Dandelion sap will do that. Takes a few days to wear off but won't cause any harm.

I was going to say dandelion sap too....
Scabies itches like hell, but doesn't really show as a rash until it's scratched. Certainly not brown.

Ha! Thank you all. Dandelion sap is what DH said (I should just listen to him in the first place, shouldn't I).
