This came up overnight. She says it isn't sore. It looks like a friction burn but it isn't raised iyswim. There's a pink ish area surrounding it. I've had a letter home from school about hand, foot and mouth disease but having googled that this doesn't look like it.
DD is 5 by the way.
I'm thinking I might take her to the GP after school tomorrow but don't know if I should take her in the morning incase it's infectious.

Is it a blister? Difficult to see from the picture. If it is, google molluscum contagiosum.

owlbegoing · 29/06/2014 15:32

No, it's not a blister as it's not raised.

Impetigo?

No, it's not a burn. It looks just like a friction burn but it isn't raised.
I guess I'll just have to keep an eye on it for the rest of the day.
Thanks for the replies Smile
