Split skin under babys neck

My 6 month old daughters skin is splitting under her neck. It was sore and red for a while and splitting so we got oilatum from the docs. This didnt help so we went back and got timodene and they took a swab.
The swab confirmed a staph infection so we got some liquid antibiotics for 5 days. She had to have 2.5ml 4 times a day. Well the first few days she didn't have it all as it was impossible to give it to her but i eventually got the hang of it. I never gave extra as i couldnt be sure what she'd had.
It seemed to clear up but has still been a bit red. We have been cleaning and drying it really well and its started splitting again. Should i see the docs and get another swab taken to check the staph infection has gone??

Have u still got any more or the cream left? Does the sore look infected again?

I had this with my son and daughter and I kept using the cream untill the sore had completely gone and the skin was back to normal. But this weather does help as the weather make under neck sweat which causes theses sore or dribbling.

It doesnt look infected. There is still just a patch of red skin that doesnt look sore just pinky coloured and then the split.
We do still have some cream left. We were told to only use it for 7 days and then stop so should i use it for 7 days again and hope it clears up?
I know this weather is making it really tough to control.

If it's not infected, just looking sore then try sudocream. My dd had a sore patch and dr prescribed sudocream. Cleared up within days.

If its timodene cream u can use it 7days on 7days off I did with my son and was advised that by my doctor if the helps.

I didn't use sudo cream as it didn't help my son sore but every baby is different. I hope the advice helps. It will eventually get better just takes time and making sure its clean because infections jus make the healing process longer but her.
