My baby and I have both contacted a D&V bug. He was sick a lot last night but didn't seem bothered and slept well (for him). He woke at seven and at nine had a 45 min nap. At midday he slept for almost three hours, woke for an hour and was playing and fine. Then he was hungry so I bf him and he has fallen asleep again.

Should I be worried? No temp and when he has been awake he's been acting normal. I'm feeling a bit better after having D&V all night but then I'm exhausted after getting no sleep until 5 this morning. ....

The biggest thing you need to watch out for is dehydration. Does he still have d&v ? How are his nappies ? When my little ones got this, my doc told me to stop giving milk (makes the d&v) worse. He recommended dioralyte (powder glucose and salt you mix up with water). Supposed to sip this every 15-20 mins. This prevents them getting dehydrated. If your little one is overly sleepy would seek medical advice ASAP. Hope you both get well soon.

Cheers. I'll keep be. He's been much more wakeful this afternoon thankfully. His nappies aren't very heavy but he has taken in quite a bit of fluids through bf. He hasn't vomited since about 7am and has had two diarrhea nappies since then. I've got some diarolyte but not sureI'll get any in him as he refuses a bottle and it a bit of a pain with even call. .....
