Hi, would be really greatful for any advice, my DD complained her tooth (upper right) felt funny, when I looked she has a discoloured patch between two of her upper teeth. Hard to tell if it's a hole, cleaned it still looks discoloured.

She brushes really well with an electric tooth brush for two mins with toothpaste dentist recommended. Also mouthwash.

She does have occasional sweets, does not have fizzy drinks or much in the way of juice.

I'm mortified as I feel that this must be my fault, all of her other teeth are perfect no plaque, cavities. Have got an emergency dentist booked for Wednesday.

Just feel so awful worried people/dentist will judge, honestly thought we had looked after her teeth.

Could it be a cavity? :(
Thanks in advance.

It could be a cavity. If it is, the tooth will be repaired. That's what dentists are for. Don't worry. It doesn't matter in the scheme of things.
