Gunky eyes and a mild temperature.

Hi, 9 month old DD has been running a mild temperature and a bit of a cough for a couple of days. Yesterday was the worst day, could tell she felt rotten, slept a hell of a lot and her eyes started leaking a sticky, pale green discharge. I did think it was conjunctivitis but this morning her eyes are clear, bright and non gunky! She seems a bit better as well, much happier.

Does anyone know if a temperature can cause the gunky eyes? If it's conjunctivitis I've got to start organising work cover for tomorrow what with it being contagious she'll be off nursery.
