My dd is 5months old nd showing early stages of teething,what's the best effective teething gels on the high street. (I've been advised not to use bonjela brands by friends).Must be halal without alcohol(ethanol).Thanx Sistaz!

Just saw this and thought I should share this. Basically the USA Food and Drug administration ordered a recall of hylands teething tablets due to them potentially being toxic a few years ago. They may have changed the recipe since then, of course but thought i'd let you know. But just a couple of days ago the FDA issued another warning against using certain brands of teething gels as these could all be toxic for babies, and issued new advice on teething which is worth a read
