Does sleep apnea come then go?

My DS, who is four. Used to have sleep anea and was then referred to the ears, nose and throat clinic.

It has been about a month and he has no more sleep apnea. He does tend to keep his mouth open while sleeping. Does this mean my DS's troubles are over?

Should I cancel the ENT referral?

I suggest no because it could flare up at anytime. If you do cancel and he shows signs of sleep apnea.. you will have the whole routine.. of going to referrals being tested.. and seeing new doctors.. which will be hard for him in school.

Thanks Childish.. for replying.

But does sleep apnea go away?

I don't know if it does go away. Your DS is breathing with his mouth open while sleeping and that alone is a red flag for the ENT specialist treating my DC.
I would definitely keep the ENT referral and take their advice. Good luck.
