Mild Kidney Dilation

DS has recently had a scan on kidneys due to recurrent pain and blood and wbc in urine. I have just recently received a copy of the letter sent to my GP from consultant. The overall conclusion is:

Incomplete bladder emptying with mild trabeculated bladder. Mild dilation of both kidneys. Left more than the right (left AP 11mm). Renal sinus fat very echogenic.

Don't want to google. Can anyone explain what this all means as have to wait a month for follow up appointment. Also needs to take Cetirizine for hayfever. Will this be ok?

Mild dilation of kidneys could be that urine is refluxing back upwards from the bladder, could be the cause of any infections as well. Look up vesicoureteral reflux, that may be what it is.
