Did your DDs start their periods? I was quite shocked to discover yesterday that 8 year old DD has pubic hair. She has had a swollen, tender nipple for a few months which I assumed was a breast bud developing. No other signs of puberty though. I'm just wondering if I need to talk to her about periods (8 seems too young!) or if pubic hair generally appears well in advance of periods starting and therefore I can leave it a while.
