Molluscum - molludab.

My 18 month old daughter has had molluscum for the past year. She caught it from her older sibling, who only ever had one. Unfortunately, for my youngest daughter, it appears to be more aggressive.
In the past few months it has spread down her back and is making its way onto her torso. This means she can now pick and scratch at the individual warts and this is causing excessive bleeding and scarring.
I have had her to the doctor on numerous occasions but am always told the same thing; to simply wait for it to clear. I have been looking online and have seen the new treatment molludab. I am wondering if anyone has had any luck with this? Unfortunately it is not available where we live on prescription. I am reluctant to buy it in case it makes things worse and I don't want it to nip or sting.
If anyone has any other suggestions on how to make this horrible virus go away, I would greatly appreciate it!

All my children had molluscum - three of them and hundreds of bumps each. We did use Molludab and some other over the counter and prescription ointments and they did have some impact. But overall we had far more success with an old remedy that my mother told me about. Apple cider vinegar, clove oil and cover them up. We have more recently found a site with a detailed treatment guide using these and other natural ointments. See www.curemolluscumcontagiosum.com/molluscum-contagiosum-in-children/
