3yo sore labia, thrush?

Dd sometimes has a quite red labia, I think it could just be where she is not brilliant at wiping when she is at nursery.

Today whilst she was in the bath I noticed that the area had a red line around the edge IYSWIM.

Could this be something like thrush that needs attention?

I have been putting some diprobase on to protect the skin a bit.

hi what is the age of dd. Is she in pants as you commented that she is not wiping herself well at nursery. When my dd is at nursery sometimes she holds her wee as she is having too much fun which makes her knickers slightly damp (not wet enough for any adult to notice) and this caused this type of irritation as the urine was acidic enough to irritate. I spoke with her key worker and they were really good at making sure she went at regular times and i sent 4 or 5 spare pants. this seemed to solve the problem. My dd has also had thrush and it caused quite a bit of discomfort (itchy, problems with sleeping and discomfort when going to the toilet) so i think it would be quite obvious if it was something fungal. fungal problems in babies can look quite different (like an extreme nappy rash) that has sores that weep fluid.
