Do I bother a doctor with this? My 2yr old woke up with a purple/red puffy eyelid 3days ago. It's not hugely obvious, has to be pointed out to people, but it's definitely there and is not improving or worsening at all. It is red and inflamed inside the eyelid, but no lump like a sty (yet).
On the one hand she's probably just bumped herself because she does fall over and run into things a bit being a toddler! On the other hand, I don't want to let some horrendous eye infection leave her blind because of my nonchalance!!
