Breast lump in baby

Hi
My 4 week old has two swollen breasts. I know this is normal in new babies because of hormones and they can grow "breasts" however they are both very different One is firm and slightly swollen exactly the same as my DD had when she was born- I would consider this normal. However the other one is really swollen with a hard lump the size of a strawberry under the skin. Did anyone else experience this? Thanks.

Yes, DC3 had this, one in particular was quite large and hard - even the GP rang a colleague at the hospital about it. It was completely fine, however, and went down in due course Smile.

Thanks for replying. It's a relief. I Will just show it to health visitor next time I get her weighed x

DS had a pea sized lump under his nipple for a couple of months at 2-4 ish months old. I was told it was hormonal and it went away on its own.
