Chicken - old wives tale that second child gets a worse dose?

Ds currently has a really nasty dose of chicken pox. Dr told me expect younger sister to get a even worse dose. Really like to know your experience as dreading her getting it now.

Ds had a pretty severe case, but dd ended up in hospital-so bad that the dr who had just treated ds couldn't be sure it was cp.

They said at the hospital that the second child gets a more extreme dose.

Dd1 was 3 and her main symptom was crankiness and a handful of spots. Dd2 was 9 months when she caught it from dd1 and every part of her body was covered, so true for us. My GP told me the same thing, that second children get it worse.
