3 of ds's friend have pox at the minute, he is fine so far, what I'm wondering is, if he gets it and his brother doesn't do I still quarantine until both boys have had it in the assumption they will pass between them or do I carry on as normal in the absence of spots?! I'm asking as they are infectious before the spots appear but I can't stay indoors for months waiting!!! Do I wait 3 weeks from first ds getting them then assume all is safe? Any advice welcome Grin

I'm currently in the midst of chicken pox. Ds1 attends nursery and ds2 playgroup, ds2 came down with it over Easter so I obviously kept them in, when I spoke to ds1 nursery school they said to send him in as normal. There is a two week incubation period and he may or may not contract it. Exactly two weeks later ds1 came out in spots, the school policy is five days off then back in as long as he is crusted over.
