He has a mystery illness, I have my suspicions, but would appreciate some thoughts:
Sat/Sun - loss of appetite (almost unheard of) and grouchy
Mon - high temp (39.4), limp, clingy, vomiting when temp peaked. Poor night's sleep.
Tue - dry cough, snot, some energy but clingy, fractious, temp peaked in afternoon. Poor night's sleep
Wed - mostly normal in morning, bit fragile emotionally, still some snot & dry cough. Foul & fractious in the afternoon. Still not much appetite. Slightly runny poo, but not proper diarrhoea.

He's 2 yr, 4 mo, if that makes any difference.

Some variety of adenovirus

Throat infection? Has he still got a temp?

EatsCakeForNoReasonWhatsoever · 08/05/2014 13:59

No more temp. Still coughing horribly. Still off his food (wouldn't even eat chocolate cake!!!!!!!!!). Still miserable :(

Very wearing for everybody

If his temperature is back to normal I'd say he's got a cold.

Some sort of virus. If you've been giving calpol for the temp, that may cause the runny poo - it affects both my DCs like that.
