Constipation in seven year old

DD is suffering from an acute bout of constipation. She has plently of exercise, water and fresh fruit and vegetables. She usually does a pooh at least once oftentimes twice day. It's now been five days and she's getting uncomfortable when trying to pooh . I've tried dried apricots and lactulose. Any thing else? Does this merit a trip to the docs.

Try a glycerin suppository or Movicol. However if it continues much longer I think a doc visit might be necessary.
