Crying and sleep..

My daughter is 5 weeks old and she is normally a very calm and placid baby but the past day or so she's been very aggravated and stroppy. She is also hardly sleeping in the day, I know they tend to start to wake up more now but she will sleep like 20 minutes then like cry in herself and wake up very moody and upset like when you have a bad dream, she's also like acting as if she's been dropped by flinging her arms out and waking herself up shocked. She's also either having solid poos or it's like water. She normally takes between 4-6 oz every 4 hours but today especially she's been taking maybe 2-3 then falling asleep for 10 minutes or so then wanting more but still falling asleep trying to drink. Does anyone know what this could be? She's been the doctors today over spots on her head which I was told were normal and she's fine.

She's not stroppy, she's 5 weeks old...

There's a massive growth spurt about 6 weeks so it could be that? It also sounds like she might be overtired. But waking up for food. Every 4 hours is a huge amount of time to wait between feeds (do you not eat or drink anything at less than 4 hour intervals?) so I'd feed her more frequently and see what happens.
