Hyper mobility syndrome in children

It comes as no surprise to us (I have EDS) that one of our kids has hypermobility syndrome - diagnosed by a podiatrist who is managing their flat/over pronated feet.

When I was a kid that diagnosis meant hundreds of hospital and physio appointments that ultimately did nothing.

What's the current thinking for managing HMS in children these days?
