OK...
DD aged 15 was hit by a car outside school last November. She was knocked out for about 20 seconds, and "bullseyed" the car windowscreen with her head.
In A&E, she was diagnosed with mild concussion, sprained leg, cuts and bruises. Very, very lucky. They did 1 xray of her leg.
Forward to last 3 months, turns out she has severly fractured a permanent tooth, but has been having some serious headaches which painkillers will not touch. So to GP, who was a bit surprised they did not xray her skull, and organised a MRI scan.
We have be recalled for a 2nd MRI, as GP says a "patch" was seen at the back of the brain. She said it could be a result of a small bleed from accident, or just "her normal brain pattern".
However, it felt like she was holding back. Kept changing subject, etc, avoiding direct questions.
Am trying so hard to stay away from Google.
A friend of a friend had "patches" on a scan...was diagnosed with MS
