Slap cheek??

My dd is 2 and a half and developed bright red cheeks in Wednesday. She was ok In herself except a slight temp. The redness is much better however they r still sore and are really scaley. So rough to touch, any cream I put on she screams and says is burning and makes me washit off.
Is it slap cheek?

Sounded a bit like it, we all had it last year I don't remember sore scales cheeks though.

Any rash any where else

I think my dd has just had slapped cheek. Red cheeks, but hot to touch. They also look a bit dry and scaly now. Still coming up a bit blotchy, but not as bad as a few days ago. She seemed fine in herself, but if asked said it was a bit sore (2yrs 2mths though, so sometimes I'm unsure if she is repeating the key words of the question or if there is genuine discomfort)

Was the rash on your dd's face hot??
