My DS is 2.2 and has had diarrhoea since Monday afternoon which has been getting worse since then. Every time he passes wind he also has aever and every time he goes for a wee he does a poo. He seems fine otherwise in himself but am concerned about how long the diarrhoea has been going on! Should I take him to the GP? Xxx

If it goes on for longer than 7 days then you should contact the GP about arranging a stool sample.

That is of course assuming he remains well in himself as your post suggests. If he's happy, alert and drinking plenty then it's fine to leave it 7 days before consulting GP about further investigation. If he becomes poorly in himself - then he should be seen sooner.
