Hi ,

My baby is just 19 months old. She started eating solid food herself. nowdays she drinks less amount of milk. I am little worried as she is not allowing to feed her. She eats till satisfaction and wastes the remaining the food. I know she is growing so i want to increase her interest in having food.

Please help me how to make 19 months old baby feel hungry and how should i plan her the food ?

Currently she is not having any formula milk and she doesnt likes it. She drinks whole milk.

Thanks

how much milk does she have? From 1 year they only need around 300mls of milk per day. How much food is she taking? All you can do is offer the food, you cant force her to take a certain amount.

If she eats to satisfaction she doesn't need more.
The waste is annoying but can't be helped. You can't force her to eat more. Offer smaller amounts at meals and if you think she's not eating enough offer small healthy snacks like rice cakes, cubes of apple and cheese, raisins, chopped fruit, breadsticks, small pieces of meat or tofu and small yogurts-I find it less wasteful to buy a big pot and offer a tablespoon at a time-throughout the day.
