DD is 2 and has glue ear (but no grommets). Do you know if it's ok to take her swimming with glue ear?

Do you have any ear plugs?

No I don't. Can you get toddler size ones, do they stay in?

I hope so because I take dd2 every week and she's had glue ear since birth Grin

The only time we don't go is if she has an active ear infection. She's being fitted for hearing aids on Thursday which will be interesting Grin

Yes to swimming but don't jump in or dive under the water (the pressure effects the ears)

Fine to swim with glue ear but have a word with the teacher so they know to speak up a bit!

Thanks for putting my mind at rest. We'd been doing Waterbabies type classes ages ago and stopped when she started getting ear infections. I wanted to just take her for a splash, not classes (due to the dunking and cost of missing them!), to get her used to water again.

If pressure is a problem is flying a no-no for glue ear? We flew last year and she was fine Blush
