My DD is 5 and appears to have a pile. She has had it for over a year but it just disappears and has never caused any problems but recently she has been complaining of it hurting and stinging. It appears after she's been to the toilet then gradually disappears again. I've never taken her to the dr in the past as I thought it would just go in time and because it's not really bothered her but recently she's been saying it stings. Took her last week and they have given her lactolose although she's never constipated but I think it's to make sure her points soft to pass.
I'm just seeing if anyone else has had or knows a child who's had this really as I can imagine it's very uncomfortable. It looks very strange like a swollen lump sticking out of her bum! Shock Can't be nice for her at all. Dr looked but it had gone down a lot but have to go back in 2 weeks to check it again but they said they don't do anything for them at this age!
