Would you be worried?
Tummy huge since birth. Had a chest/throat infection last week which wiped her out and caused tummy ache. Still complaining of tummy ache and very whingy.
Panicking a bit about what could be going on in her tummy.

Have you asked a GP about it?

Infections can sometimes be followed by tummy aches which can be glands in the tummy.
My dn had a huge tummy until she was about 5. She wasn't fat, just had a large tummy, but it was fine, just the way she was.

If you're worried, go and see someone about it.

We had this with ds. He was so swollen he looked pregnant!
He was tested for gluten intolerance but came back negative.
However I kept him off bread and bananas for a year and now only bananas as they give him a sore tummy and diarrhoea and he is fine.
It just slowly went away as he got s bit older (18mo-2.5)

Thanks both
Ive mentioned it a few times when we've been for other stuff and Docs not concerned. Had kidney scan a year ago or so and all ok. Shes always had what I call an 'ethiopian' tummy (Sorry) and im hoping the tummy ache she has at the mo is due to her being so poorly last week. She really isnt herself. I tend to think the worst xx

Been to the doc, couldn't feel anything sinister. Says it's just tail end of a bug. Reckons her tummy is the way she is, short legs, very hippy. X
