orchidoplexy and circumcision

Ds age 10 is scheduled for medically necessary surgery and other parents have experience of this..post op care tips advice etc? Questions to ask surgeon ? Son is aware ( internet generation)...

Anyone out there had son have this surgery done so late...know is more common in toddlers..but this was not picked up til now ? Any advice for supporting son through both orchidoplexy and circumcision.?
