My 6 month old dd has a posterior helical ear pit on her right ear. (Google it and the first picture that comes up is exactly what hers looks like). I didn't know what it was until recently.
I pointed it out at her 6 week newborn check but gp dismissed it as nothing.
I'm starting to worry about it (yes I know googling is a bad idea) - should I go back again to gp? Is it possible to just have these and have no other reason for it? I know the ones at the front of the ear (pre auricular) are much more common.
Any advice really appreciated.
