Chicken pox advice, is this infected?

DS developed chicken pox on Tuesday and 2 of the spots have got a redness around them. Does this look like it's infected or just inflamed? He's got a bit of a temperature but that's likely with the virus anyway.

I'm not sure, but can you ring out of hours?

Chicken pox can be quite nasty.

What's his temp and is he lucid?

He's asleep. I can't find my thermometer Blush but he feels very warm.

Ill phone the out of hours, just thought id ask on here first as if a gp visit isn't necessary I'd rather I didn't have to wake him. It took him ages to fall asleep with the itching.

He has seemed fine in himself throughout the day, just a little warm and irritable.

I always think it best to get these things checked out.

It would be a shame to wake him, but I'd rather do that to get the right result.

He may need antibiotics if it is infected.
