Best hay fever medication for 7yo

Can anyone recommend a hay fever medication that's suitable for a 7yo? DS1 has Piriton syrup at the moment but it's not that effective and he has to have it three times a day which interrupts his playtime at school.

benadryl does a childrens hayfever syrup for ages 6+ (is cetirizine)

Another one here for Cetirizine. DD11 has been taking for 3 years and works well with no side effects. We use Supermarket brand as Zyrtec (trade name) is more expensive.

local honey?

My ds has terrible hayfever and has done since he was 2 (he is now 7). He has always taken cetirizine too. But the last 2 years he has been prescribed Grazax from St Thomas' hospital. I can honestly say it has transformed his life. It is a grass pollen tablet that he has placed under his tongue daily for 3 years. It basically desensitizes the body. He has gone from having to spend the biggest part of the summer inside to being able to do sports on the school field.!
