My daughter whos 11 has just been diagnosed with this... im very worried... not much info on it... shes always had a lazy eye but a few years ago the head tilt started... we haven't been worried for years she's wore glasses since about 2 yrs old... I didnt give it a thought yesterday when she went fot her eye test... any advice pls.. thanks

I'm so sorry I don't know what this condition is but I feel for you as very difficult if you're child is unwell! Very distressing as a mother - Just keep loving her is the only thing I can say! Good luck!

Yes, I'm an eye specialist.

I've only seen acquired in adults , after injury once and I think sinusitis once.

Generally it's congenital and spotted quite early on, certainly at the first eye test.

If she has a head posture it sounds congenital.

Doesn't tend to cause any problems at all, does she have any symptoms?
