Is there ever 'too much' poo?

Over the last few days my baby has had a dirty nappy up to five times a day. Hes 3 months old. Before, he was quite regular with only 2 (max) dirty nappies a day. Should I be concerned?

My youngest had between 10 and 20 a day when she was as little baby. Turned out she was intolerant to cows milk.
I think a big variety of poo quantity can all be normal though unless there are other symptoms you are concerned about I'd not be too worried :-)
