Hi

Hoping some one can recognise these symptoms and give some advice.

Ear pain but doctors can't see any infection in middle ear
Vomiting but only liquids
Slight temperature

Have seen doctor 3 times this week all saying yes in pain but can't see infection. Given AB and painkiller but haven't kept them down since last Sunday.

Went to OOH this morning have been given suppository pain killers - worked for half hour then pain in ear returned.

As soon as he drinks it "bounces" straight back up, but can keep solids down.

Boy aged 13 years old.

Have been told to go back to GP and ask for referral.

Any help greatly appreciated.

This sounds nasty - I hope he is on the mend now. Could be a case for IV antibiotics. I'm sorry nobody was here in your hour of need.

That sounds very unpleasant. It sounds as if he should see an ENT.
